Reasearch / work
I conduct inter- and transdisciplinary research and practice where people come across sectors, perspectives and disciplines to engage with a complex sustainability challenge in context. I draw from sustainability transition and transformation research, critical systems practice, a backcasting approach to the future and a genuine care for learning. My current research focuses on issues of navigating complexity; that is; not creating change in a controlled manner but seeking ways of influencing via modes of guiding and accelerating. This requires a dynamic understanding of systems grounded in an explicit ethics and reflexive stance towards intervention.
