| My research focuses on the interaction between the diet and the gut microbiota and how this in turn impacts our health. I am specifically interested in cardiometabolic diseases and how we can use every day foods in a targeting and personalized manner to improve health and prevent disease. I am also interested in finding metabolite biomarkers for interactions between the microbiota, diet and health and to predict possible responders and nonresponders to dietary interventions. |
