| I do an in-depth, longitudinal case study of digital transformation in an established firm in the Swedish forest industry. This firm is playing a similar role to that of digital platforms in the digital economy, connecting multiple actors for enabling transactions and innovation. However, its conventional strategy is very "non-digital". Therefore, it is a particularly interesting case for learning more about embracing particularly identity-challenging technologies and ultimately, coping with organizational implications following digital technology adoption. |
