4) innovation project, AGEMI Adcancing gender equality in the media industries, funded by European Commission’s General Directorate for Justice and Consumers.The project will bring journalism, media and communication students together with media professionals so as to foster a gender equality perspective within both journalism and media education and professional journalism practice, and bridge the transition between education and employment. It comprises educational components as well as knowledge-sharing among journalists students, media professional and academics. Involved parties: University of Newcastle (leading the project), JMG, University of Padova, the European Federation of Journalists and the Permanent Conference of the Mediterranean Audiovisual Operators (COPEAM). |
